General Overview

Below are steps for setting up a computer to log into Right Networks to access your Microsoft Office 365 hosted software.

You will want to ensure that you are logged out of Right Networks before attempting this setup. If at any issues or questions arise, please do not hesitate to contact the Right Networks Support team at 888-417-4448 x2.

PC Setup

Please download a new Right Networks shortcut by clicking on the link provided below. If you use a task-bar shortcut, simply launch the download to log in the first time and then going forward you should be able to connect using your old task-bar shortcut. Make sure to choose rncloud1.rightnetworks.com from the computer dropdown field before clicking connect.

If you do not make use of a task-bar shortcut then simply move the downloaded file to your desktop and delete the old icon.

Please Note - When logging into the new Office 365 environment, Microsoft Excel will launch automatically. This is to ensure the product is correctly activated before use.

Mac Setup

1. Download a new RDP file by clicking on the link provided below.

2. Open Microsoft Remote Desktop. With the application open select File in the upper left hand corner of your screen.

3. Select Import.

4. Navigate to where the RDP file you just downloaded is saved and double-click.

5. The new connection should now be displayed in the main window under My Desktops.

Having Trouble with Skype?

If you are having problems signing into Skype, please make use of the steps below to manually set it up.

1. Click the gear icon to go to settings

2. Click File

3. Click Change Sign-In Address…

4. Click Advanced…

5. Check off Manual Configuration

6. Type in Internal server name and External server name

    a. Internal server name: sip.myucworkspace.net

    b. External server name: sip.myucworkspace.net

7. Then click OK and OK again
